Hello!

Want to share something your kids did? Something funny or serious or interesting you want others to know about?

Hello!

:D Hello! :D

I seem to have been hibernating but I am still around. :D

Will be working on my circle journal this week and my ATC's are on their way to Tricia so I haven't been completely unproductive, hehe.

I am having loads of fun with my Silouhette digital cutter, finding some excuse or other to use it every day. I have been buying crash loads of stamps lately too so really want to find the time to put them to good use.

Anyone else into the whole Valentines thing?
Personally, we don't really bother with it all. I see, from lots of blog viewing, that a lot of people in the States give Valentines gifts to all and sundry - I don't get that myself

So? What are you up to then? :D
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila and salt and call me over!!!

Hi Esther
Nothing wrong with hibernating if you get the chance! Love to do the same 8-)

No to the Valentine's thing, might of got one card I think lots of years ago, and maybe given one, and hey agree, why would you give valentine gift s to more than one :? ;)

Have had a great morning scrapping, using some product from Shell, but have to head off to work now, darn...

Soooo.... Whats Barbie up to today then ???

I'm not sure what 'Barbie' is up to... but I've been BUSY at school!

We're studying Native American Indians this term... and I have to say it's a GREAT topic and the kids are really enjoying it! In fact we are going on an Overnight Adventure aka camp in three weeks time!

Since it's a pretty expensive time for parents the kids and I have decided to raise our own funds for camp by doing a spelling bee :P The kids have all taken home their spelling lists to learn and they need to get sponsors... we're aiming for each of the kids to raise a minimum of $15 to cover the costs of camp... 3 sponsors @ $5 each seems pretty easy to us 8-)

Since we're studying Native American Indians we have decided to make our own teepees to sleep in... we'll be cooking over a fire... and activities include 'deer stalking', 'buffalo hunting' and 'Indian night trails'... the kids are REALLY excited and enjoying it all.

We've even started making our own costumes (hessian sacks with wool stitching) to wear at camp... and the Principal has organised a huge log and he's going to take groups of kids to make a totem pole for the school

It's all great fun... and fantastic learning!

Wow Shell! That sounds so cool!!!

I have made my cover page and my background page for the "information" in my circle journal but that's it at the moment. I was thinking while I'm waiting for my "date" with Grey's tonight I might get it out and figure out what I am going to do on my own page and do everything else I need to do on it. :-)

As for Valentine's we don't usually bother but I should buy him some chocolate and not eat it myself. Now that would be a miracle.

Sounds like you've been busy Brenda!! Looks like a great weekend for you though :P

Had some great news via this thread actually... Nina's father actually owns a MASSIVE teepee and she's talked him into bringing into school next week for the kids to see!! Needless to say they are all VERY excited about it!!
