September Challenge - CLOSED - Winner announced!!

Well it's time for a brand new challenge... and what better theme than SPRING!

Daylight savings is coming soon and hopefully it will bring some warmer weather (and no more rain!!) Around Rotorua there are flowers starting to pop their heads out, bulbs coming into view and the odd blossom here and there so this month let's celebrate Spring

We've got a fantastic sketch for you... just released from Page Maps! and I'm sure it's going to be a winner with you all... so here's the sketch:


All entries need to be uploaded by 6pm on Friday 30th September... and we have a guest judge all lined up!

The winner of this challenge will receive a $20 voucher to spend in our store plus have their layout featured on the Scrapbook Dreams blog and in our newsletter.

Thanks Nie Have to admit that I really love sketches because a lot of the hard work has already been done and it gives me more time to think about the papers, embellishments and photos LOL

I can just see this layout being perfect for photos of our eyes...I only hope the family cooperate and let me photograph them close up! LOL

Actually I'm using the sketch at the moment for some 'Fiskars' stuff they asked me to do for their blog

I took a lovely photo of DS's eyes tonight, and took several of DH before I could get anything worthwhile. He has this nasty habit of rolling his eyes back when I point the camera at him. LOL May have to check my photo files to see if I have anything better LOL

DD's takes literally hundreds of self portraits (must be a teenage girl thing) so have plenty of "eye" shots to choose from (she is at boarding school and I want to get photos printed whilst in town tomorrow).

I think I have one or two of my own eyes so we are pretty much set to go here.

Looking forward to seeing what you all create with this cool sketch.

I'll let you guys know when my stuff goes on the Fiskars blog... it's around the middle of September (can't remember the exact date) but so far I've done one layout and a card.... got a couple more layouts in mind

Just uploaded my layout for the challenge I flipped the sketch to suit my photos - a layout I did at the get together this weekend - thanks shell for a great sketch
